Lamb Trowbridge

A little less than a mile away from the disappointment of the Crown (which turned out to be long closed), I spotted the Lamb which has the air of a more stately hostelry than it is any more.  There were several Wadworth offerings on tap and I hesitated over a Corvus Stout but settled on a perfectly kept and reasonably cheap pint of Henry’s IPA.

With the unusually warm and humid weather, I stank to high heaven now 8 miles and 3 pubs into a planned 6 mile/2 pub run so I took my drink out to the garden which actually is much more pleasant than the photo:

A stand-up and a sitter…very convenient but there is absolutely no privacy.  Must be a local thing.

Here’s the map.
