2015-2016 Holiday Run Streak Continues   12 comments

Update: finished successfully, full list of runs at end.

Thanksgiving to New Years Run Streak

Same drill as last year, the Holiday Run Streak involves running every day from the Saturday before US Thanksgiving (21 November, this year) until the Saturday after New Year’s Day (the 2nd of January 2016).  Obviously, I needn’t point out that this also encompasses the annual Heavy Drinking Season.

Also like last year, it involves at least 3 miles per day; however, prescribed training distances for a planned April 2016 event are also booked in so 6 days per week BOTH the Holiday Run Streak and The Programme have to be met (either with 2 runs on a day or with the prescribed workout extended by at least 3 miles).  That’s only 43 days in a row for the streak itself, but 30 of those are double-dips (and 7 of the others involve cross-training).  Updates to follow, here and on the Monthly Reviews.
