Bernie versus Hilary   1 comment

dennis kucinich 2004

I was a Kucinich delegate at the Democrats Abroad International Caucus in 2004 when the word ‘electable’ was chanted mindlessly (and in the long run quite unsuccessfully) about John Kerry.  My Kucinich shirt is in tatters but I will wear it till it falls from my body sometime in the very near future.  I can’t get a Bernie Sanders shirt: buying one from his official site requires an American pot of funds so my credit card is useless for purpose.

If someone is visiting from the States, though, and would bring one or two over with them (size = medium) I’ll buy the shirt and the first round at the pub — parties of no more than twice the number of shirts involved, of course.

In the meantime, let’s look back to the 2008 primaries when it wasn’t the Bern that I was feeling (and Hillary was the ‘electable’ one…how’d that work out?):
