Rockingham Arms Elephant and Castle London

The jellied eels energized me and I went for a little Southwark hike.  The rain got heavier and I ducked into the Rockingham Arms for a quick pint.

Fifteen minutes after joining the other 10 customers at the bar (and in the meantime joined by 10 more although several left in disgust), I was finally served a tepid pint of the cider three taps down from the one I asked for.  Fucking incompetents.  There’s a more interesting bar, called the Elephant and Castle, a couple of doors down (I won’t say ‘better,’ but definitely more interesting — like the Chinese curse: ‘may you live in interesting times’); if it is still in business, go there.
