Angie’s III, Willesden, London   2 comments

First of three Irish pubs visited in Willesden (there are at least three more to go but I don’t know if there are any traditional English ones) was Angie’s Three — I suspect it is owned by the same people or person as Angie’s by the canal which I didn’t go to a few weeks ago.  It is a great little venue, regardless, from the white plaster and timber walls to the crazed patrons to the decent prices.

About half way through my lager a guy came in with a couple of satchels and started trying to sell something (turned out to be large jars of instant coffee, not nicked, of course).  Best he could do, for one of the barflies, was 4 for a tenner.  Too bad he didn’t have steaks or i-players but his, ummm, ‘wholesaler’ probably is only dealing in industrial sized Nescafé right now.
