Old Bell, Kilburn, London   Leave a comment

The Old Bell, right next to the Kilburn Overground station, had all the charm (but also the low pricing) of a Wetherspoons but was, instead, part of the Stonegate Pub Co.  They didn’t have as many ales available as a ‘Spoons, but at £2.20 a pint I wasn’t complaining.

The garden wasn’t anything special but it was quieter than the interior and good for people watching.  There weren’t a lot of fat people but they ate with that ambition.

And, the transport links are good.  This was a hard review…nothing to rave about, nothing to bitch about.  If it hadn’t fit into the theme of the day’s run, there would have been no reason to go (nor any reason to avoid it).
