Railway Arms, West Drayton, London   Leave a comment

The Railway Arms was filled with old guys…y’know, about my age and there was an internet jukebox on which they were playing some wonderful cuts (obscure dub mixes, even more obscure 1970s punk covers of 1950s and 60s rock, blues, and rhythm, etc).

Friendly and loud and there was Carling cider for £2.50.  I had no complaints at all.  Changed out of the running kit before heading out to the bus and was given as warm a farewell as if I had been a regular there for years.  Near the West Drayton train station, if you are doing a rail crawl.
