Bow Bells, Bow, London   1 comment

The Bow Bells was busy last Wednesday at rush hour and I reckon that’s always the case.  The bar stool I invaded was an excellent spot for people watching and led to brief, but fun, conversations with locals and folks that just work nearby, or to change categories drinkers and folks picking up some pizza (which, unlike most places in London, looked like the real thing).

The rain had stopped since it had driven me inside at the Tiger a few minutes earlier but I think most of the business stayed indoors here since the benches were wet.

There’s a good selection of ale, and the keg beer has a decent craft population.  Probably a bit close to the main drag, it still LOOKS the part of an old, East End boozer and would probably make for a grand mid-afternoon lunch stop if you were visiting the Olympic Park across the way.
